How long could the Fallout TV show go on for? According to the actor who plays Brotherhood of Steel hopeful Maximus, the “endpoint” hasn’t changed — and it runs until Season 5 or Season 6.
Speaking at Comic Con Liverpool, Aaron Moten briefly discussed the potential length of the Fallout show, should it reach the endpoint that has been established by its showrunners.
“When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point and they gave me the endpoint,” Moten said. “And that endpoint hasn’t changed. But it is Season 5, 6 type of endpoint.
“We’ve always known that we were gonna take our time with the development of the characters.”
Of course, getting to Season 5 or 6 of Fallout will depend upon a number of factors, primarily its continued success. But given just how explosively popular Season 1 of the Bethesda game adaptation was, and with huge interest in Season 2, it feels like Fallout has as good a chance as any show to see things through to the end.
Speaking of Season 2, filming just wrapped, with The Ghoul actor Walton Goggins celebrating by taking his radiation-riddled skin off.

Warning! Potential spoilers for the Fallout TV show follow.
As yet, there’s still no premiere date for Season 2, but Fallout is thought to be coming back to Amazon Prime in the first half of 2026 after the LA fires halted filming.
The show is confirmed to be heading to New Vegas for Season 2, and it’s not just about the location itself. Mr. House is set to be a part of the new season, though how involved he’ll be is unclear. We’ve already seen the tease of some familiar sights thanks to previous set leaks, including this video that shows part of New Vegas and the iconic Lucky 38 resort and casino, all bright and lit up. It’s certainly far from the rusty place you might expect, but there’s likely a good reason.
We’ve also had a sneaky peek at a giant T-rex head, implying the show will have Dinky the T-Rex, the roadside mascot of Novac in New Vegas.
We had a great time with Season 1, writing in IGN’s Fallout The Series review that the show is “a bright and funny apocalypse filled with dark punchlines and bursts of ultra-violence [and is] among the best video game adaptations ever made,” slapping it with a well-earned 9/10.
