Poco F7 5G Chipset Details Revealed

The Poco F7 5G will launch in India with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, the company revealed in an X post. The phone has managed to score more than 2.1 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, according to the company. The global variant is confirmed to have the same chipset as well. The Flipkart microsite for the handset confirms that the Poco F7 5G will support 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

The microsite further reveals that the Poco F7 5G will be equipped with a 3D IceLoop System with AI temperature control and a 6,000sq mm vapour cooling chamber. The handset will support WildBoost Gaming Optimisation 4.0, which is claimed to ensure high-quality image rendering, more responsive UI, a stable high brightness and high frame rate during gaming while conserving battery life.

The Indian variant of the Poco F7 will be backed by a 7,550mAh battery. It will support 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The design of the handset reveals that it will feature a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support.

Previous leaks claimed that the global version of the Poco F7 5G will likely pack a 6,500mAh battery. All variants could use a Sony IMX882 sensor as the main rear camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter. The phone could be equipped with a 20-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies and video calls. It is expected to come with an IP68-rated dust and water-resistant build and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display.
