Xiaomi is set to unveil its Mix Flip 2 foldable smartphone on July 26 at a launch event in China. Alongside the new foldable, the company will introduce a range of products, including the Redmi K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, and Redmi K Pad. The event will also mark the debut of Xiaomi’s latest electric SUV, new TWS earphones, and wearables. Adding to the lineup, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will showcase a new pair of AI-powered smart glasses, which are expected to rival Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses.

Xiaomi Teases New Smart Glasses

In a Weibo post, Xiaomi revealed that its Al Glasses will be announced on June 26 at 7pm (4:30pm IST). The teaser is posted with the tagline ‘next generation of personal smart device’, and it shows the device worn by a person. They are seen with inbuilt cameras, and the teaser videos shared by the brand highlight capturing first-person view videos with the smart glasses.

Xiaomi’s AI Glasses are likely to directly rival Meta’s Ray-Ban smart eyewear. They glasses could feature an integrated audio module. Given the popularity of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, major players like Apple and Google are also expected to bring new AI-powered wearables with enhanced features and more competitive pricing.

The Chinese tech brand had already confirmed that it will unveil the Mix Flip 2, Redmi K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, and Redmi K Pad on June 26. The event will also see the introduction of brand-new accessories — Smart Band 10, Watch S4 41mm, and Open Earphones Pro. The Xiaomi YU7 electric car is also set to go official during the event.

Xiaomi is actively teasing the specifications of its new products on Weibo. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is confirmed to debut with a 4.01-inch cover display and a 6.86-inch inner display. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood and a 5,165mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support.
