Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection now has its final lineup of games and confirmation of a number of new features.

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Digital Eclipse announced Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Mortal Kombat Special Forces, two rare PlayStation-era titles that have been unavailable for decades, are in Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

Also revealed today is the Kollection’s inclusion of an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 version that has not been playable anywhere since 1997. The WaveNet edition of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was originally developed to support Midway’s WaveNet online matchmaking service for arcade machines, Warner Bros. explained.

“This unique edition was the only arcade release to feature Noob Saibot as a selectable character. Now emulated and preserved for the first time in history by Digital Eclipse, the WaveNet version debuts in Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.”

Warner Bros. recently confirmed Mortal Kombat Trilogy, which it said has been optimized for modern platforms with “drastically reduced load times for a faster, smoother experience.”

As for new features, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection has a new Rewind feature for “more forgiving” gameplay, on-screen move lists, and a Trainer mode “to help players perfect their kombos.” There’s also a Fatality Trainer, which gives players a chance to master the finishers.

The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection final lineup includes:

  • Mortal Kombat – 1992 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
  • Mortal Kombat II – 1993 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
  • Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, WaveNet Arcade, SNES)
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy – 1996 (PlayStation)
  • Mortal Kombat 4 – 1997 (Arcade)
  • Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero – 1997 (PlayStation)
  • Mortal Kombat Special Forces – 2000 (PlayStation)
  • Mortal Kombat Advance – 2001 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance – 2002 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition – 2003 (Game Boy Advance)

The physical versions of the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch and will ship on December 12, 2025.
