At off, the Shokz OpenRun Pro helps you stick to your new year’s goals

Getting fit is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, and if we’re being honest, it’s also one of the easiest to quit by week two. But with the right support, it doesn’t have to be that way this year. Earbuds like the last-gen Shokz OpenRun Pro can help keep you motivated, while their open-ear design provides a safer, more comfortable alternative to traditional wireless earbuds. And right now, they’ve hit a new low price at Amazon and Best Buy, where you can buy them for $109.95 ($50 off).

Built with sports and outdoor activities in mind, the bone-conduction headphones don’t block your ears like traditional in-ear buds, so you can still hear traffic and other surrounding sounds on busy streets. They’re also designed to stay put, meaning you don’t have to worry about them slipping off midway through a jog the way smaller earbuds can. What’s more, they carry an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance, meaning they can handle sweaty workouts and light rain without a problem. Plus, at just 29 grams, they’re easy to wear for long periods of time, especially since you don’t have to deal with the discomfort of earbuds stuck in your ears.

It’s worth pointing out these are older buds, and Shokz now sells the OpenRun Pro 2. The newer pair notably offers AI-powered noise cancellation to help tune out distractions, while delivering richer bass and USB-C charging. They’re available for $179.95, but if you prioritize affordability over extra bells and whistles, we think the last-gen model is still worth picking up at this price.
