Zombuds, a Post-Apocalyptic Drug Tycoon Business Sim, Announced for PC

Introducing Zombuds, an open-world business sim that takes place 15 years after a zombie apocalypse. So what business are you simulating? Well, the game name gives you your first clue… More specifically, developer Gamecraft Studios says you’ll be making “drugs, meds, and bizarre apocalyptic substances.” You’ll hire survivors to help grow the business into an empire and/or brainwash zombies into doing the work you need. Plus, your friends can join in the fun in co-op play.

As you explore Zombuds’ open world, you’ll scavenge to get started, bootstrap your business, automate it as it grows into an empire, and of course slay plenty of zombies along the way. You’ll also buy and sell items from still-living humans. Check out the announcement trailer above and the first screenshots in the gallery below.

No release window has been announced yet. You can wishlist Zombuds on Steam if you’re interested.

Ryan McCaffrey is IGN’s executive editor of previews and host of both IGN’s weekly Xbox show, Podcast Unlocked, as well as our semi-retired interview show, IGN Unfiltered. He’s a North Jersey guy, so it’s “Taylor ham,” not “pork roll.” Debate it with him on Twitter at @DMC_Ryan.
