Aang, The Last Airbender Movie Leak Allegedly Reveals 3 Minutes of Footage

UPDATE April 12, 2026: The Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender leaks shared by @ImStillDissin have been removed from X after the original post alone garnered more than 100,000 likes. In their place is text that says, “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”

Paramount has yet to comment on the matter.

ORIGINAL STORY April 12, 2026: More than three minutes of footage from the upcoming Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender movie seems to have leaked online, months ahead of its official premiere on Paramount+.

X/Twitter user @ImStillDissin sent fans of the original fire, water, earth, and air-bending gang into a frenzy when they said Nickelodeon “accidentally” emailed them the full film, posting what appears to be two scenes from the project today. If real, it could be one of the more substantial leaks of recent memory, showing Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, and Toph older and reunited with a new voice cast.

“If Paramount doesn’t post a trailer within the next couple days or something I’ll livestream the movie alongside some Peggle Deluxe gameplay,” the leaker added in a follow-up post.

After ditching a theatrical release last year, Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender is currently slated to premiere on Paramount+ October 9, 2026. Nickelodeon and Paramount have yet to show any official look at the movie itself, but these recent leaks may have already spoiled some surprises. Those hoping to go into the film without spoilers may want to be careful when scrolling through social media for at least the next few days.

The videos, which have been live for nearly 12 hours and carry more than 100,000 likes between them at the time of this story’s publication, show not only what appear to be crucial plot moments but also lengthy bits featuring new cast members like Dave Bautista and Taika Waititi. Those who seek out the clips may also want to keep in mind that, even if the footage is authentic, it likely comes from a project that Paramount isn’t quite finished working on.

IGN has reached out to Paramount for comment.

Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender was first announced in 2024 and is expected to be the first in a trio of animated films set in the beloved cartoon universe. Though some believed the project had been originally been titled Aang: The Last Airbender, Paramount went on to give the movie an official title, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, in 2025. Instagram posts from those who attended an early screening, including star Eric Nam, who plays Aang, revealed that its latest retitle is Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender.

Other previously confirmed members of the cast include Jessica Matten as Katara, Dionne Quan as Toph, and Román Zaragoza as Sokka. As revealed in an interview with IGN last July, Invincible and The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun is set to play Zuko.

While we wait to see something official from Paramount, you can check out the latest on the Avatar Legends fighting game. You can also read up on the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender Netflix show, which is set to premiere its second season this June.
