Samsung Reveals AI TV Lineup for 2026 in Australia

Samsung has officially unveiled its 2026 television lineup, marking two decades for the company as the top-selling global TV brand. The new range focuses heavily on the integration of artificial intelligence across various tiers, from the ultra-premium Micro RGB displays to the more accessible Crystal UHD models.

So, what’s new? A central pillar of this year’s release is the Vision AI Companion (VAC), a suite of features designed to move the TV beyond a passive display into a more interactive home hub. Backed by a commitment to seven years of One UI Tizen upgrades, Samsung is positioning these sets as long-term hardware investments. There’s also a renewed focus on more Art TV options, more ultra‑large displays, and a feature particularly important to Aussies: improved glare reduction.

To celebrate the new launch, Samsung Australia are offering early adopters an 5% off with code “AI-AV26” (ends 25/4).

The Rise of the Vision AI Companion

The standout software addition for 2026 is the Vision AI Companion. Unlike standard voice assistants, VAC utilises multiple Large Language Models (LLMs), including Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, alongside an upgraded version of Bixby.

The goal is to facilitate more natural, contextual dialogue for Australian users. Rather than just searching for titles, the AI is designed to handle communal requests—such as suggesting what to watch based on group preferences or providing visualised responses to specific queries directly on the screen.

Key AI-driven features included in the 2026 range:

  • AI Upscaling Pro: Real-time analysis to enhance low-resolution content.
  • AI Soccer Mode Pro: Specifically optimises motion and stadium audio for live sports.

AI Sound Controller Pro: Allows users to adjust individual layers of audio, such as separating dialogue from background music.

Micro RGB: The New Flagship Tech

Samsung is pushing its proprietary Micro RGB technology into more mainstream sizes, ranging from 55 to 115 inches. These units use individually controlled red, green, and blue micro-LEDs to manage light and color at a granular level. The flagship R95H features a 12.9mm slim profile and “Wireless One Connect” compatibility to reduce cable clutter.

OLED and Gaming Performance

For 2026, Samsung has expanded its Glare-Free technology to both the S95H and S90H OLED models. These sets are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, utilising 128 AI neural networks to process imagery. Gamers will note the “Ultimate Gaming Pack,” which includes a 165Hz refresh rate and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC.

The Frame Pro: Lifestyle Meets Performance

The Frame continues to target users who prioritise aesthetics, but the new Frame Pro (LS03HW) upgrades the hardware to a Neo QLED panel. It maintains the signature flush-to-wall design and access to over 5,000 artworks through the Art Store, now enhanced by VAC’s personalised curation.

Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD

The Neo QLED QN80H remains the versatile mid-to-high-range option, offering 4K upscaling and gaming performance up to 144Hz. For those looking for Mini LED technology at a lower price point, the M70H series introduces “Pure Spectrum Colour” and motion acceleration up to 120Hz.

Music Studio Series Audio Expansion

Alongside the TV reveals, Samsung announced the Music Studio Series, a new line of design-led Wi-Fi speakers, alongside refreshed Q-Series soundbars and Sound Towers. These are designed to integrate with the TV’s AI Sound Controller to create a more unified home theater environment.
