Foot Locker has revealed a new collaboration between Crocs and the hit anime series Chainsaw Man.
The collaboration includes four new Clog designs and a series of five Jibbitz charms. The Clogs will retail starting at $69.99, and will be available both online and at select Foot Locker locations starting October 27. However, fans can get a sneak peek of the new designs ahead of their wide release at New York Comic Con.
The most expensive Clog design of the bunch, listed at $79.99, quite literally turns Pochita into a Croc. Instead of the usual Croc holes, you get a full Pochita face with a little chainsaw sticking out of his head (and your toes). The extra cost can be explained by this being the only clog in the collection to come in the fuzzy lined design.
Two more standard Clog designs are also inspired by specific characters: Power and Chainsaw Man himself. The Power design is based on the Blood Fiend’s blue cardigan outfit, complete with a fuzzy white heel clasp and her iconic red horns.
Chainsaw Man gets, well, a whole lot of chainsaw. A blood-splattered red design shows hints of an engine along the heel and cutting teeth peeking out the front. A jagged cutting chain slices through the front toes, creating a 3D effect similar to the Pochita design.
The fourth and final Clog design features a collage of fan-favorite characters from the first season. The five new Jibbitz charms are also modeled after specific characters, narrowing the list down to Aki, Power, Pochita, Makima, and Denji in his Chainsaw Man form.
Tatsuki Fujimoto penned his last chapter for the Chainsaw Man manga earlier this year. The ongoing anime adaptation, produced by studio MAPPA, continues to grow in popularity.
We were pretty big fans of Season 1, and the story’s continuation in Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc contributed to a record-breaking year at the box office in Japan. The anime series will be returning to a standard episodic format for its next season, titled Assassins Arc, which is currently in production.
Crocs, on the other hand, has been going ham with the collaborations, with recent releases themed after massive franchises like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.
