The 17-year-old Marvel actor Jack Veal, who appeared as Kid Loki in Season 1 of the Tom Hiddleston-led Disney+ series, has said he was homeless after suffering mental and physical abuse but has now received support.
As reported by Deadline, Veal posted on TikTok to say he was homeless but has since followed up to reveal social services got in touch to offer support including foster care and accommodation.
“I’m a famous actor, I’m 17, and I’m homeless,” Veal said in the initial post. “I haven’t mentioned much about what’s been going on in my life, but I think it’s time to reveal the truth. Without delving too much into the details, I was abused at home. It was physical violence, emotional abuse, and etc.”
Veal said he “didn’t have a very good upbringing” and has struggled with mental health. “I have autism, ADHD, and am being screened for bipolar and psychosis,” he added, saying he was now living in a trailer with smashed windows. “I have nowhere else to go. And I need help.”
After asking his followers to spread the word of his situation, and saying social services wasn’t doing anything to help, Veal posted again to reveal they had since got in touch. “Just got a call from social services saying they want a meeting with me tomorrow to essentially get me into foster care and supporting accommodations,” he said.
“I don’t know what you guys have done but it’s gotten out there and it’s really, really helped me. They’re taking action now. They’re actually doing something. So God bless you all. Thank you so much. This is the first time they’ve ever considered me for accommodation.”

The latest video confirmed he is no longer homeless, as an emotional Veal addressed his followers. “All of you guys, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have got anything,” he said. “They eventually called me, after an interview with a journalist, and told me that they changed their minds and they’re going to give me an emergency placement, and that was all because of you.
Veal appeared in Episode 4 and Episode 5 of Loki Season 1, which debuted in 2021, as an alternate universe version of the titular character. He hasn’t appeared in a Marvel project since, but has appeared in the Chloë Grace Moretz-starring series The Peripheral.
