Lowe got his start in voice work after an early career and studies in radio, beginning with occasional roles for both TBS and Cartoon Network in the 80s and 90s. His breakthrough role was as Space Ghost in Space Ghost Coast to Coast, a mix of live-action and adult animation that riffed on the 1960s Hanna-Barbera series Space Ghost. The show was set up as a talk show hosted by Space Ghost, who would interview various live action guests, and heavily incorporated surrealist humor. The series debuted in the 90s, and later was a keystone of Cartoon Network’s late night Adult Swim programming in the 2000s.
Lowe was best-known for his Space Ghost role, and often would appear at various events in a Space Ghost costume to perform as him, and voiced him in guest appearances in other shows and video games as well. However, Lowe also appeared in other voice roles across TV including The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Robot Chicken. He has also appeared in a handful of guest appearances for Artix Entertainment games such as AdventureQuest.

Lowe most recently reprised his role as Space Ghost last year in an episode of Jellystone.
