A refresher on wireless terminology, courtesy of Trump Mobile

6G? 4K? 3D? Whether you’re a layperson or the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world, it can be hard keeping a lot of numbers and letters in your head. Not that I’m pointing a finger; surely anyone can forget what a silly little combination of numbers and letters means! Especially if you have things like nuclear codes taking up space in your brain. So let’s say, hypothetically, you were to confuse wireless standards with imaging sensor resolutions during an important meeting. So embarrassing! But not to worry — I found just the resource to help you brush up on some of those pesky abbreviations: a “blog” published on TrumpMobile.com.

There are plenty of helpful topics covered in this section of the Trump Mobile website. Whether you’re pondering the difference between Wi-Fi and mobile data or wondering how to switch from Mint to Trump Mobile, there’s a keyword stuffed thoroughly researched article for that. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s a handy explainer on the difference between 4G and 5G. It’s even formatted with helpful subheads, bullet points, and bolded terms to help you absorb all the important bits. Maybe it even resembles the kind of output you’d get from ChatGPT, but what’s the harm in that? It’s not as if someone prompted an LLM to come up with a bunch of articles designed to capture a bunch of Google search traffic. Imagine!

Anyway, Trump Mobile, and definitely not ChatGPT, lays it all out very clearly. “First, What Even Is 4G?” it begins. I know I for one am always asking myself “What even is 4G?” The article continues: “4G has been our ride-or-die for years.” Isn’t it refreshing to read a complex subject broken down into such relaxed language? It’s like talking to a really smart friend, or a robot that has ingested the entirety of online communication and is doing its best impression of a really smart friend. Who can say? Anyway, it lists out some bullet points that I won’t get into, and then hits you with the big takeaway: “In short: 4G made smartphones smart.” Damn.

I know what you’re thinking at this point. You want to know more about the next-gen standard, which is 5G, and specifically: What makes 5G cool? That’s the very next thing covered in this article. Faster speeds, lower lag, and higher capacity? Sign me up! And here’s the kicker: “It’s like switching from a two-lane road to a massive 10-lane superhighway.” Ride-or-die? Superhighway? This is gripping stuff.

Just as the article is in danger of actually explaining anything technical (boring!) it wraps up with some final thoughts. In fact, just so you can be sure, this section is labeled Final Thoughts. It reads: “4G changed the game. 5G is leveling it up.” There you go: clear as 4K video. And if you’re pretty fired up about 5G after reading that inspiring explanation, there’s a handy link to sign up for Trump Mobile’s wireless plan, which includes 5G at no extra charge. Unbelievable. Just don’t be surprised if you end up waiting for a while for your SIM card.
