Accenture has appointed Shaheen Sayed as chief commercial officer of reinvention services.

In this newly created role, the company said that that Sayed will be responsible for streamlining how it delivers AI-enabled solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients for the AI era.

The professional services company said she will play a “critical role” in integrating capabilities to drive sustainable growth and long-term client value.

She will be succeeded in her role as lead for Accenture in the UK, Ireland & Africa (UKIA) by Matt Prebble, who currently serves as data & AI lead for EMEA and has spent 25 years with the company.

In this role, Prebble managed 10,000 people and worked with C suite executives from the world’s leading organisations to accelerate their reinvention.

Accenture said that he helped organisations enhance competitiveness, grow profitability and deliver sustainable value.

Under his leadership, Accenture said it has driven large scale AI adoption programmes, built responsible AI frameworks, and partnered with global ecosystems to unlock measurable value.

Sayed, who has worked at Accenture for 20 years, previously led the technology business in the UK and Ireland. She specialised in orchestrating enterprise-wide technology transformations and new market innovations.

Sayed has worked across industries including banking, capital markets, telecommunications and healthcare.

“Shaheen Sayed’s appointment as chief commercial officer marks a significant step in our mission to drive transformative change for our clients,” said Manish Sharma, chief services officer, reinvention services at Accenture. “With her extensive experience in digital transformations, Shaheen is uniquely positioned to lead our efforts in creating innovative solutions faster and embedding AI and data seamlessly into our clients’ businesses.

“Her leadership will be instrumental in helping organisations reinvent themselves to thrive in the age of AI.”
