At tonight’s Geeked Week live show, Netflix not only revealed a new clip for the second and final season of Arcane, but the release dates.

Like Season 1, Arcane Season 2 will be released in three acts. Act 1 will premiere on Netflix on November 9, Act 2 will follow on November 16, and Act 3 will close out the series on November 23. Netflix said that additional information about each act will be announced at a later date, and we still don’t know how many episodes will comprise each act. There were three episodes in each act of Season 1.

Netflix also released a new clip of Season 2, showing what seems to be Vi in, well, a dark place. It’s only our latest glimpse at Arcane Season 2 following a pretty meaty trailer earlier this month. You can watch the new clip below:

Netflix revealed that Arcane, which quickly became a critically acclaimed breakout when it debuted in 2021, would be ending with Season 2 in June. However, series creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee hinted that they may have more coming based on the League of Legends universe.

“Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche,” Linke said at the time. “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

We raved about Arcane Season 1 in our 10/10 review, calling it “the first video game adaptation that’s truly a masterpiece, breaking new ground for what’s possible in TV animation.”
