Such examples of fan expression include theories of what Pokemon a character like Batman would have. Pokemon fan KosukeSukeP shared new designs of Pokemon-themed weaponry on Reddit. KosukeSukeP has actually been quite prolific at coming up with Pokemon weapons, all of which would look right at home in a game like The Legend of Zelda. In this new batch, they’ve created a lot of awesome concepts, such as a pair of greatswords based on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon, a spear based on the Psychic/Flying Pokemon Sigilyph, a set of weapons influenced by Natu and Xatu, a Kabuto mace, Kabutops scythe, and even a Kingdom Hearts-style Keyblade modeled after Klefki.

A Whole Armory of Pokemon-Themed Weapons

KosukeSukeP has been busy coming up with these Pokemon weapons, as they’ve previously shared many batches of designs. They seemingly take inspiration from just about any Pokemon, not only the “strong” ones—KosukeSukeP has made katanas from Bug-types Ninjask and Shedinja, claws from Sneasel and Sneasler, and even a weapon based on Steel/Ghost Aegislash, which is already designed after an actual sword and shield.

KosukeSukeP’s Pokemon weapon designs would look really good in RPGs like Final Fantasy or Monster Hunter, where appearances of equipment a player can use are highly prized. KosukeSukeP’s artwork actually looks pretty official, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they ended up working on a game in some capacity, if they aren’t already.

Meanwhile, it will be a little while longer before KosukeSukeP can have some potential new Pokemon to turn into weapons. The next big game Pokemon Legends Z-A is not expected to release until late 2025, according to rumors, and the 10th generation of mainline entries may be much farther off, likely not until the Nintendo Switch 2 is announced and launched. Though with over 1,000 Pokemon now in the universe, there will be enough to keep KosukeSukeP going until then.
