The Bobiverse may soon be coming to a screen near you, but not before the entire series gets a special print treatment. IGN can exclusively reveal Saga Press’s deluxe hardcover art for the Bobiverse’s second installment For We Are Many.
As seen in the images above, the first print of For We Are Many’s deluxe edition will have stenciled edges, full color front and back endpapers, with original artwork, illustration, and design by Amir Zand (cover), Maciek Wolański (endpapers), Spencer Fuller (edges), and Ela Laytham (art direction & design).
Originally published in 2017, book #2 of Dennis E. Taylor’s sci-fi saga “follows an AI-powered interstellar explorer as he confronts alien threats, chaotic post-apocalyptic hurdles, and the ultimate challenge of saving humanity.”
Also featured on For We Are Many’s cover is a quote from Dungeon Crawler Carl series author Matt Dinniman. “By the time I finished the first Bob book, I had already purchased the whole series,” Dinniman says. “By the time I finished this second one, I named every fish in my tank Bob because they keep multiplying. The books keep getting better, and they stay with you long after you’re done.”
The Martian and Project Hail Mary author Andy Weir has also praised the series, saying “I love the Bobiverse! Some of the best sci-fi out there. These novels have everything, but most importantly Bob was there, too.”
Each deluxe print edition of the Bobiverse is being crafted by the same team to create a unified series look. Saga Press says they will release a new hardcover edition every 2-3 months, with cover reveals for each.
At San Diego Comic-con 2025 Aditya Sood, president of Lord Miller Productions, announced the company had optioned the Bobiverse series for a potential Hollywood adaptation. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are perhaps best known for directing 2014’s The Lego Movie and the upcoming Project Hail Mary adaptation starring Ryan Gosling.
Project Hail Mary hits theaters March 20, 2026. The deluxe print edition of For We Are Many will be available January 20, 2026.
