Prime Video has picked up Critical Role animated series The Legend of Vox Machina for Season 4 ahead of the Season 3 finale.

Prime Video, Critical Role, and animation studio Titmouse have confirmed the show will continue to adapt the original Dungeons & Dragon campaign from Critical Role but didn’t share plot details or a release window.

Scanlan actor Sam Riegel, Vex actress Laura Bailey, Percy actor Taliesin Jaffe, and Keyleth actress Marisha Ray shared the news in a short video. “We’ve been picked up for a Season 4,” Riegel said. “The gang will be back for more epic adventures next season.

“We’re so thrilled, we’re so excited, we’re so grateful. Thank you for watching and we couldn’t be happier to share this news with you.”

The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated adaptation of the original Critical Role campaign, a livestreamed D&D adventure spanning several years and with prolific voice actors behind each character.

In our 8/10 review of the last run, IGN said: “In Season 3 of The Legend of Vox Machina, the titular Dungeons & Dragons party faces its biggest challenges yet — leaving a path of emotional devastation in their wake.”
