“Anime fans’ love goes beyond just the content because it’s a lifestyle, and music is an integral part of that anime fandom,” said Crunchyroll’s Chief Operating Officer Gita Rebbapragada. “Music drives anime narratives, sets the tone with hit themes that bookend episodes of fan-favorite series, and is often born from a creator’s unyielding love for the medium. This year, we are going to San Diego Comic-Con with a tremendous festival experience to celebrate music across the anime spectrum.”
