In recent years, digital comics subscription services like Marvel Unlimited and DC Universe Infinite have emerged as options for readers who want to consume a lot of books without spending huge amounts of money. But what about if you prefer manga to superhero comics? That’s where Crunchyroll Manga comes in.

Crunchyroll Manga is a new premium add-on to the Crunchyroll streaming service, one which will feature titles from publishers like AlphaPolis, COMPASS, Square Enix, VIZ Media, and Yen Press. Crunchyroll Manga is a separate app from Crunchyroll, though it’ll also be available on the web. The service is powered by the Japanese manga developer Link-U Group. The iOS and Android apps will launch in the US and Canada on October 9, followed by the web version on October 15.

Among the many manga titles included in the service, Crunchyroll is spotlighting the following series:

  • One Piece
  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Daemons of the Shadow Realm
  • My Dress-Up Darling
  • The Summer Hikaru Died
  • Lycoris Recoil
  • Delicious in Dungeon
  • Sasaki and Miyano
  • Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy
  • Maiden of the Dragon: Falling for the Demon’s Lies

“Anime and manga have always been two sides of the same coin, and Crunchyroll is uniquely positioned to bring them together for fans everywhere,” said Crunchyroll’s Chief Content Officer Asa Suehira in a statement. “With this launch, we’re not just creating another reading app, we’re expanding the ultimate anime lifestyle experience, uniting stories on the screen with those on the page.”

With Crunchyroll being an add-on subscription, it’ll require an active Crunchyroll subscription to access. The total monthly cost with a Crunchyroll Fan subscription is $11.99 USD/$15.49 CAD, while the total cost with a Crunchyroll Mega Fan subscription is $15.49 USD/$17.49 CAD. Crunchyroll Ultimate Fan subscribers will get Crunchyroll Manga with no additional cost.
