Developer Silent Games and publisher Secret Mode have announced Empyreal, a new sci-fi action-RPG, due out in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Empyreal promises intense combat in pursuit of a Monolith left behind by a lost civilization. Multiple endings, character customization, unlockable abilities, and lots of loot await. Check out the first trailer above and the first screenshots in the gallery below.
Silent Games describes Empyreal’s story as such: “In a far-flung corner of the galaxy, an expedition arrives on an unexplored planet, discovering a colossal monolith built by a lost civilisation. As the Expedition team begins to investigate, it soon becomes apparent that this enigmatic and imposing structure is no mere ruin.”
“We are very excited to finally reveal the game our team have been working hard on for the last few years,” said Sally Blake, Founder and CEO at Silent Games. “I believe we have managed to develop something that will resonate with players of hardcore RPGs that like to explore a huge variety of gameplay systems and enjoy a sophisticated narrative with complex themes.”
