Everything Revealed by Marvel at NYCC: Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, VisionQuest, Wonder Man, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation Brad Winderbaum appeared at New York Comic Con on Saturday to unveil what’s next for the MCU’s streaming series.

After confirming that X-Men ‘97 is coming to Disney+ in summer 2026, Winderbaum showed the first footage from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Wonder Man, and VisionQuest. (Marvel only officially released the Wonder Man trailer online, which can be seen below.)

The panel began with a first look at Season 2 of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which includes a cameo by Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in animated form and a look at a sentient black goo that hints fans will see Venom in the new season, which launches on Disney+ in fall 2026.

Wonder Man

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley presented fans with a look at the new trailer, which can be seen below. The series follows Simon Williams (Mateen), a struggling actor hoping to land the title role in a big screen reboot of the classic superhero film Wonder Man. Director Destin Daniel Cretton’s 8-episode series debuts on Disney+ January 27, 2026.

Daredevil: Born Again

Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) and Kristen Ritter (Jessica Jones) took to the stage at Javits Center to present the first trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again.

The footage opens with Matt and Karen Page having a romantic domestic life until Matt’s senses are overwhelmed by something explosive. Soon, we see missing person posters for Matt Murdock being put up around town. Matt wanders the streets of New York until his former Defenders teammate Jessica Jones comes to his aid.

We see Wilson Fisk, now the Mayor of New York City, pummeling a man in a boxing ring, and a quick glimpse of Foggy Nelson, who died in Season 1. There were shots of Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye eating a sundae at a diner, Fisk and his wife Vanessa at dinner, and then shots of Daredevil in action, grinning as he tasers some bad guys.

VisionQuest

The early footage from VisionQuest, presented to fans by Winderbaum and star Paul Bettany, follows White Vision as he adjusts to having the memories of the late (Red) Vision but no emotional attachment to them. Winderbaum called VisionQuest the conclusion of a trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along.

The footage shows White Vision, in human guise, entering a mansion where he’s met by servants who turn out to be AI characters previously seen in the MCU in human form. There’s James D’Arcy reprising his role as Jarvis. He’s joined by human incarnations of Friday, who was Jarvis’s replacement, and Edith, the AI program from Tony Stark’s sunglasses in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

But the biggest reveals were saved until the end of the VisionQuest footage: the return of Ultron, but in human form and played once again by James Spader (with a big bushy beard). You’ll recall that (Red) Vision killed Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

At the end of the footage, Ultron reveals the son this Vision hasn’t known: Tommy Maximoff, played by Ruaridh Mollica. Tommy is known in the Marvel Comics as Speed. VisionQuest will launch on Disney+ in 2026.
