Evri one of fist organisations to deploy Microsoft’s AI tech

Evri is rolling out Microsoft 365 E7 across its business as it looks to expand its use of AI to improve productivity personalisation and parcel delivery operations.

The parcel delivery company said it is among the first organisations in the UK to adopt Microsoft’s enterprise platform, with 6,000 licences set to be deployed over the coming months. The rollout follows more than £3.5 million of investment in AI by the business.

Microsoft 365 E7 includes tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Agent 365, and the Microsoft Entra Suite. Evri said some of the technologies have already been tested within the organisation, with the wider deployment extending access across the business and introducing additional capabilities.

The company added the platform will help employees access information more easily, reduce manual tasks, and improve decision-making by connecting them to knowledge across the organisation.

Evri delivers more than one billion parcels each year and said AI is becoming increasingly important as both parcel volumes and its workforce continue to grow. It believes the technology will help teams stay connected, reduce siloed working, and improve operational efficiency.

The deployment will also enable employees to build AI agents that automate routine tasks and coordinate workflows, while providing faster access to operational insights and supporting collaboration. Evri added that data from its VeriSnap technology will help teams improve delivery quality and respond more efficiently to operational issues.

The company said the investment is designed to improve service quality and delivery accuracy, with tools such as AI-powered writing and grammar assistance supporting colleagues. while maintaining human oversight of AI-assisted processes.

“We’ve been building our capabilities in this space for a number of years, and this allows us to take the next step – putting powerful, secure AI tools directly into the hands of our people,” said Marcus Hunter, chief technology officer at Evri Group.”This is about empowering all our people through technology.

“By removing manual tasks and unlocking insights from across our organisation, we can help our teams work smarter, deliver better service, and continue to scale as our business grows.”
