Google is likely to unveil the Pixel 10 series at a Made by Google event in August. This year, the tech giant is expected to announce the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, alongside the regular Pixel 10 model. As we wait for an official confirmation from Google, a new leak suggests that the upcoming Pixel 10 smartphones will offer improved loudspeaker performance. The upcoming lineup is believed to run on a new Tensor G5 chipset.

Pixel 10 Lineup Could Feature Best Speakers on a Pixel Yet

Android Headlines reports that the Pixel 10 series will come with upgraded speakers. The new lineup is said to “have the best audio quality in a Pixel ever”. The Pixel phones have always had good speakers (Review), but not the best.

However, Google is reportedly not including Dolby Atmos support on the new Pixel 10 phones, as many smartphone makers are moving away from it. Currently, the Galaxy S25 series is among the few phones still offering Dolby Atmos.

Aside from the speakers, the Pixel 10 series is rumoured to get an all-around upgrade. The lineup is said to offer gimbal-level image stabilisation and Qi 2.2 wireless charging with Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) standard. Google is also tipped to bring a ‘Pixelsnap’ series of accessories alongside the new phones. The new lineup is likely to need a case to use the Pixelsnap accessories.

Google is speculated to announce the Pixel 10 series at a Made by Google event on August 20. Pre-orders for the new phones may start on the same day, and they are expected to land in stores a week later on August 28. They are expected to be equipped with a new Tensor G5 chipset.

The regular Pixel 10 could launch in Iris, Limoncello, Midnight, and Ultra Blue finishes. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL models are tipped to be available in Light Porcelain, Midnight, Smoky Green, and Sterling Grey shades. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is likely to be unveiled in Smoky Green and Sterling Grey colour options.
