After IT: Welcome to Derry premiered on October 26, HBO Max has announced it’s bringing the Episode 2 release date forward to coincide with Halloween.
The new horror series will see Episode 2 debut early on HBO Max beginning Friday, October 31 at 12am PT 3am ET. The episode will also air on HBO on Sunday, November 2 at 9pm ET / PT.
Subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season will continue to air Sundays on HBO and HBO Max leading up to the season finale on Sunday, December 14.
IT: Welcome to Derry is based on Stephen King’s IT novel and expands on the IT films by Andy Muschietti (IT and IT Chapter Two). It’s developed for television by Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs. Andy Muschietti himself directs multiple episodes of the series.

Existing monthly subscribers get 30 days in advance of their plan changes, which means the price increases from your next billing date on or after November 20, 2025. Current yearly subscribers will not see an increase until renewal and will be notified 30 days in advance of their plan renewing.
