HMD Rubber 1 Tipped to Launch With Camera

The HMD Rubber 1 could arrive with a 2-megapixel camera sensor, according to an X post by
HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60). The X user has a decent history of HMD-related leaks and, therefore, they are worth considering.

Whether the rumoured camera on the HMD Rubber 1 will be used for any other functionalities other than capturing images is yet unknown. Notably, a recent report suggested that Apple may eventually bring a smartwatch with a camera to enhance Visual Intelligence capacities.

As per the tipster, the HMD Rubber 1 could get a 1.85-inch OLED display and run on WearOS. Connectivity options for the watch may include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and NFC. It is tipped to be equipped with an accelerometer, a heart rate sensor, and a SpO2 (blood oxygen level) tracker. The watch is said to have a 5ATM water-resistant build and a 400mAh battery. It is may support USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging.

HMD Rubber 1S Key Features (Expected)

The HMD Rubber 1S may sport a 1.07-inch screen and have a 5ATM rating as well for water resistance. Similar to the standard variant, the Rubber 1S is expected to run on WearOS and carry an accelerometer, a heart rate sensor, and a SpO2 tracker. Alongside Wi-Fi, this smartwatch is tipped to support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. It is expected to pack a 290mAh cell and support USB Type-C as well as Qi wireless charging.
