Prime Day is a great time to pick up older models at deep discounts. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a great example, having coming out originally in 2021. It’s since been supplanted by the Sonos Beam Ultra, but that model is hundreds of dollars more (even while on sale!), and the Sonos Beam Gen 2 has never been cheaper. Our own audio expert, Harry Rabinowitz, used this model in his own home as his primary soundbar and found it to be a particularly good fit for smaller homes.
Speaking of deals on older models, if you’ve always fancied one of those picture-style TVs, this 2025 Samsung model has a matte finish to make paintings and photos look more real, for when you’re not using it as a TV. The magnetic bezels are customizable, and some folks love the look. To be honest, these aren’t best TVs, sadly, Amazon doesn’t have any Prime Day deals on them.
