Impressive-looking life sim inZoi will launch on PS5 next year, sometime in 2026 — though an Xbox launch looks further off.
While publisher Krafton couldn’t provide any further information on the release than this — so we don’t yet even have an approximate release window, let alone a firm date — it did say in a statement on social media that the team “is working hard to bring you the best possible experience on PS5.”
It also confirmed that an Xbox release “is also under consideration, but not yet confirmed.” Sorry, Xbox fans.
inZoi is a life simulation game where players become gods within the game, allowing them to change everything as they wish and experience endless new stories in various forms of life. Its first free DLC, Island Getaway, will release on August 20, which also just so happens to coincide with the release of the life simulator’s rollout on Mac, too.
inZoi says the Southeast Asia-inspired map was “shaped by feedback from our players, going all the way back to [the] Early Access launch earlier this year.” As well as introducing the new dual-island map Cahaya, players will also get new activities like swimming, snorkelling, and farming.
IGN’s inZoi review returned a 6/10. We said: “inZoi is a visually striking life simulator with plenty of ambition, but not enough depth as of its Early Access launch.”
Last month, publisher Krafton addressed an ongoing debate about its plummeting Steam concurrent player count, insisting that as a single-player game sales are a better indicator of performance.
