IGN exclusively debuted the very first clip from Marvel Television’s Ironheart at IGN Live in Los Angeles today. The clip can be viewed via the player above or the embed below.
The scene features young genius Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) meeting with the enigmatic Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos), who offers Riri a Faustian bargain in her quest to create an “iconic” iron suit.
It was previously revealed that Riri resorts to stealing parts in order to build her suit of armor, which winds up getting her booted from MIT.
Set in Chicago after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ironheart, according to the series’ official synopsis, “pits technology against magic.”
In addition to Thorne and Ramos, Ironheart’s cast includes Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam and Anji White.
Black Panther and Sinners director Ryan Coogler serves as an executive producer on Ironheart along with Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler.
The series’ head writer is Chinaka Hodge while episodes are directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes.
Ironheart premieres on Disney+ on June 24, 2025.
It remains to be seen when fans will see Ironheart again following her own streaming series as the character is among the many Marvel heroes not appearing in Avengers: Doomsday.
