LEGO Teases a Chopper Minifigure as Part of Its Netflix One Piece Collaboration

LEGO Teases a Chopper Minifigure as Part of Its Netflix One Piece Collaboration

It’s been over a week since all of the episodes for season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece series dropped, and fans are still praising the live-action adaptation. LEGO celebrated the release of the new season by announcing a new Gum-Gum Fruit set, but rumors had been swirling well before that that we’d be getting some season 2-specific sets later in 2026.

Those rumors have finally been confirmed as LEGO offered up its first tease of a Tony Tony Chopper minifigure on Instagram. The official doctor of the straw hat pirates is shown popping out of the snow with an ominous ‘coming soon’ message slapped on to the end of the scene.

LEGO Chopper Minifigure Revealed

For those who aren’t already familiar with Chopper from the manga, anime, or the new Netflix series, he’s an adorable little reindeer that happened to eat a very specific Devil Fruit. Now he is able to walk and talk like a human as well as turn into a hulking reindeer-human hybrid. He’s also professionally trained as a doctor with a surprisingly emotional backstory as to why.

It’s no surprise that Chopper is already one of the most beloved characters featured in season 2 of the series. One Piece Creator Eiichiro Oda suggested that Netflix think of him as a stuffed toy to avoid venturing too far into uncanny valley with the design. The result is the absolutely adorable version of the character that is quickly becoming one of the most popular One Piece toys of 2026.

What Will the Chopper LEGO Set Be?

LEGO has not yet revealed what set this Chopper minifigure will be a part of, so all we have are some previous rumors to go off of. The rumored sets that could potentially include the Straw Hat doctor are a potential Drum Island Castle set as well as a buildable Tony Tony Chopper. As cool as a Drum Drum Castle set would be, I think the most likely scenario is a display build of Chopper himself. LEGO already announced the Gum-Gum fruit display geared more toward older kids and adults and it seems like the most likely direction for the toy company to take.

And while we don’t know how to get the Chopper minifigure just yet, there are still quite a few older LEGO One Piece sets worth checking out in the meantime. The Going Merry build, for example, is an essential part of the franchise regardless of what part of the saga we’re looking at.
