Nintendo just presented its latest Indie World Showcase, and it was filled with indie games headed to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. From Blue Prince being out today to new looks and release dates for Mixtape, Denshattack!, Rotwood, Blighted, and much more, there was a lot to be excited about.

Blue Prince Will Bring Its Mind-Bending Puzzles to Switch Today

For the ‘one last thing’ of today’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase, it was revealed that the mind-bending puzzler known as Blue Prince will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 later today. Step into Mt. Holly, a peculiar manor that features ever-changing rooms, and it’s up to you to find its enigmatic Room 46.

Mixtape Is Officially Headed to Nintendo Switch 2

Mixtape is officially heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on May 7, 2026, and will let you follow three friends on their last night of high school who go on a grand adventure together by playing through a mixtape of memories, set to a “soundtrack of a generation” that features DEVO, The Smashing Pumpkins, and more.

Mixtape will also be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Denshattack! Kicks Off the Nintendo Indie World Showcase In Style

Denshattack!, the game lovingly referred to as Tony Hawk with Japanese trains, kicked off the Nintendo Indie World showcase by revealing new gameplay, sharing its June 17 release date for Nintendo Switch 2 and announcing that a demo is available today! Oh, and players can also get an exclusive train skin if they purchase at launch.

Rotwood Is a Nintendo Switch 2 Console Exclusive From Don’t Starve’s Klei Entertainment

Don’t Starve developer Klei Entertainment has revealed Rotwood, a stylish side-scrolling co-op action brawler that will let you play solo or with up to three friends. Klei also notes that increasing your skill is just as important as the loot you gather, so make sure you are ready as Rotwood is out today!

Drinkbox Studios’ Blighted Needs You to Reclaim Your People’s Memory Before You Are Devoured

Drinkbox Studios has revealed Blighted, an upcoming game where you will need to “journey through a corrupt world to reclaim the memories of your people before the Blight devours you.” You are the lone survivor of an attack by the evil Sorcisto, and but you will be able to bring along a friend if you so choose.

Blighted will be released on Switch 2 this fall.

Run a shop and go explore dungeons in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. The further you delve, the greater the reward, but it won’t be easy. You’ll have to master both parts of your life when Moonlight 2: The Endless Vault launches later in 2026.

My Little Puppy Looks to Be a Heartwarming Tale of Our Best Friends After They Cross the Rainbow Bridge

My Little Puppy is headed to Switch on May 29, 2026, and it looks to tell a heartwarming tale of our best friends after they cross the rainbow bridge. This game stars a Welsh Corgi named Bong-gu who smells the scent of his human dad in the afterlife, and this sets players on an adventure all about “relationships, farewells, and reuinions.”

The Switch version of My Little Puppy also features costume customization for Bong-gu, which will surely also melt our hearts in the best way!

Heave Ho 2 Is a Party Game Where You Need to ‘Grab What You Can and Swing to Win!’

Heave Ho 2 is a ridiculously wonderful-looking party game that tasks your and up to three friends to “grab what you can and swing to win!” It looks like a chaotically great time and will be available on Switch, Switch 2, and PC in summer 2026.

Deadzone: Rogue Is an FPS Sci-Fi Roguelike That Wants You to Come Back Stronger Every Time

Come aboard a forsaken space station infested with biomechanical threats that will challenge you at every turn in Deadzone: Rogue. This upcoming FPS Sci-Fi Roguelike encourages you to keep coming back stronger than before, and to do so by scavenging and combining experimental weaponry to become the ultimate killing machine.

Minishoot’ Adventures Arrives on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 Today

Minishoot’ Adventures is a game with a unique mix of action-adventure exploration and twin-stick shooting, and it’s out on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 later today! You play as a ship you’ll need to upgrade, and your journey will take you to caverns, ancient temples, sunken cities, and more.

Woodo Is a Cozy 3D Diorama Game That Already has Our Hearts

Follow the story of Foxy the Fox and the Ben the Frog while you get cozy and build 3D dioramas that have already stolen our hearts. The devs describe it as a 3D coloring book, and the scene fills in every time you place a piece in its correct spot. Woodo will be available in summer 2026.

Lost in Random and Fe’s The Midnight Walk is a dark fantasy adventure that was built in real-life clay and animated in a stop motion style that is both gorgeous and terrifying. You will become the Burnt One, befriend a lost lantern creature named Potboy, and use his flame to help you find your way.

Nintendo Indie World Showcase Teases Even More Games Headed to Nintendo Switch 1 & 2

The Nintendo Indie World Showcase presented us with an exciting montage filled with even more games headed to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and they included Outbound (April 23, demo out today!), Unrailed 2: Back on Track (May, demo out today!), TOEM 2 (Summer), Ratatan (July 16), inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories (April 30), and Grave Seasons (Summer).
