These pals require specific requirements to summon and can only be done at a player base, which comes with good news and bad news. Players can summon up to 14 pals to help combat the summoned beast, but run the risk of destroying their base.

Following the successful first raid of Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero, Blazamut Ryu joins Palworld as one of the scariest encounters to date. Blazamut Ryu is a Fire and Dragon-type pal that takes up most of the screen once it arrives, and attacks relentlessly. Players should be wary of its power and prepare ahead of time, as taking Blazamut Ryu down won’t be an easy task, even for the strongest players.

What Is Needed Before Facing The Beast

Much like the Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero event, players will once again be tasked with seeking out fragments for the Blazamut Ryu summoning. To access Blazamut Ryu fragments, players will need to venture out to the Sakurajima region and enter one of the available dungeons. These dungeons come with a level suggestion of 53, meaning they are packed with extremely powerful pals and Moonflower Genin.

Players will need to explore all rooms of the dungeon and defeat the pals and enemy characters, who are all hostile and will launch their attack on sight. Once players reach the end of the dungeon, two purple treasure chests will be available to open. Unfortunately, Blazamut Ryu fragments aren’t guaranteed, resulting in players needing to re-roll the dungeons until the acquire four of these fragments.

• Assault Rifle — Use this for long-distance damage while ally pals attack from up close. Bring 1000 assault rifle ammo to be safe.
• Rocket Launcher — Another good weapon for long-distance damage. Bring 100 rocket launcher ammo.
• Hyper Shield — Only the best shield will do in this fight. Don’t bother with anything less
• Suzaku Aqua — When mounted, the player’s attacks and Suzaku Aqua ‘s attacks are powered up.
• Azurobe — Waterwing Dance turns the player’s attacks into water attacks, which sync well with the high-damage weapons.
• Kelpsea — A good support pal that will help power all water-type pals attacks while in the party.

The best strategy to bring down Blazamut Ryu is to keep at a distance at all times while chipping away at its HP with the Assault Rifle 4 and Rocket Launcher 4 weapons. Blazamut Ryu will launch several attacks that build up over time, giving players fair warning of where the targeted attacks will land. A team of water-type pals with partner skills that can boost the water element are best served against Blazamut Ryu, due to its weakness against this element.

Blazamut Ryu will take time to rest after taking too much damage, which opens the door for players and their pals to deal more attacks in the process. Once Blazamut Ryu is taken down, the player will receive a large amount of high-tier items and a Huge Dragon Egg , which will hatch Blazamut Ryu. If players are planning to build their base or add some extensions, it might be worth bringing out Blazamut Ryu for some additional work, otherwise it should remain in the team at all times.
