We’re just about a month out from the release of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew on Disney+, and Disney has graced us with a trailer this morning showing more of the misadventures that lead four children to get lost in a galaxy far, far away.

The trailer does a lot of work to set up the show’s stakes: four kids stumble upon something buried in the woods, get way too nosy, and through a series of events, end up lost in space together. While their parents panic looking for them, the kids explore a massive city on another planet, and meet the helpful Jude Law, who seems to be trying to help them get home.

For those worried it’ll be too kiddy, fear not, as the trailer seems to include plenty of Star Wars-y action. We’ve got explosions, lazer guns, space battles, and definitely some Jedi doing Jedi stuff.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew was first announced in 2023, with Jude Law promised to star in a kid-friendly, Goonies-like story about a group of children who get lost in the galaxy and must try to find their way home. We’ve since been told it will have real stakes despite being geared towards children, and an initial trailer shown at D23 earlier this year seemed to confirm the vibes. We’ve also since learned the series will include a wild cameo from Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.

The first season, consisting of eight episodes, debuts on December 3, 2024 with a two-episode premiere.
