Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is returning to cinemas in March 2026 for its 35th Anniversary. You can watch the announcement trailer via the player below.

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts, and Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group re-releasing 1990’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in theaters for its 35th anniversary.

Here’s the official synopsis for the TMNT: The Secret of the Ooze re-release:

“Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael return for their most thrilling adventure yet. This time the evil Shredder has learned the secret of the ooze, the force behind the Turtles’ mutation and amazing fighting abilities.

Now more dangerous than ever, Shredder is determined to destroy the Turtles, bringing along new villains Tokka and Rahzar for a battle to the end.”

The TMNT 35th anniversary theatrical re-release has grossed over $3 million so far, according to Fathom Entertainment. The re-release has been extended again in select U.S. theatres nationwide for a second full week (now in theatres through August 28).

For more coverage of the heroes in a half shell, preorder the original TMNT trilogy on 4K and Blu-ray, get the latest details on TMNT: Battle Nexus, and find out which TMNT toy from 1989 is making a comeback on Amazon.
