The Best Early Labor Day Kitchen Deals to Ease You Back Into Fall (2026)

Nights are feeling crisp, it’s getting darker earlier, and kids are back at school—for most people, vacation meals and casual picnics are over, and it’s time to get back to business with meal and menu prep. If you’re dusting off your pots, pans, and air fryers and thinking you could use an upgrade, Labor Day is a great time to score deals on appliances and cookware. Though the deals aren’t quite as good as Prime Day’s or Black Friday’s, they’re still substantial. These are the best early discounts I’ve found on gear the WIRED Reviews team has tested, loves, and uses in their own kitchens.

Check out our other early Labor Day deals on tech gadgets, as well as our kitchen coverage.

All-Clad

D3 Mother of All Pans with Lid (6 Quart)

All-Clad is having a sale on many cookware sets and devices, but if you’re going to get just one pan, this should be it. You can’t beat All-Clad’s durability and lifetime warranty, and WIRED kitchen reviewer Matthew Korfhage likes this 6-quart model specifically because it has the broadest surface of any of All-Clad’s stainless steel pans, at over 11 inches. It also has a lid and is oven- and broiler-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. I can personally attest to the All-Clad quality, as I’ve had the D3 sauté pan since 2005, and it still looks nearly new.

Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven and Grill for $158 ($62 Off)

Cuisinart

TOA-70 Air Fryer Oven and Grill

The best air fryer deal on a model we recommend is this combination air fryer/toaster oven from Cuisinart, which WIRED reviewer Matthew Korfhage loves for its ability to crisp, broil, toast, and even grill on a little George Foreman-style griddle. The interior isn’t the easiest to clean, but unlike many air fryers, it is compact enough to fit comfortably on most countertops—15.75 inches wide by 12.25 inches deep by 13.75 inches high.

Keurig K-Cafe Smart Single-Serve Coffee Maker for $100 ($100 Off)

Keurig

K-Café Smart Single Serve Coffee Maker

Everyone knows this is not the best way to make great-tasting coffee—we have other machines we recommend for that. But if you live by yourself and just need a quick cup in the middle of the day, or want something simple and unfussy for the office, you really can’t beat this half-off deal. WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe tested this model at her house and praised its built-in milk frother; BrewID, which identifies an inserted pod and suggests settings for brewing it (or, in the app, recipes to use); and MultiStream technology, which saturates the pod grounds for a better cup.

Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker 3.0 for $169 ($60 Off)

  • Image may contain: Electrical Device, and Microphone

Anova

Sous Vide Precision Cooker 3.0 (1100 Watts)

Not only is an immersion circulator a great way to slow-cook lean meats, but it’s also a way to home-pasteurize your eggs to ensure they’re salmonella-free. I love this Anova model because the touchscreen makes it easy for anyone to use—just clip it onto a pot filled with water, select your temperature on the touchscreen, and cook away.

Instant Pot Pro Plus for $170 ($60 Off)

I have an older model of this particular Instant Pot model, which WIRED reviewer Joe Ray gave an 8/10, and it’s one of the most-used appliances in my home. If you’re looking to simplify your meal prep during the busy fall school-and-sports season, this is the way. It will cook dried beans and tough meats in just a fraction of the time it would take via other methods, and if you haven’t tried any of the internet’s legion of Instant Pot-specific recipes, you should. They will probably surprise you.

KitchenAid 5-Quart Artisan Stand Mixer for $349 ($119 Off)

KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer

KitchenAid

Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer

If you’re looking to get a jump on fall or holiday baking, you can grab KitchenAid’s timeless tilt-head Artisan model for Prime Day prices right now. Only certain colors are on sale at Walmart, but if you don’t see something you like, QVC has a bigger selection for just $30 more.
