IGN can exclusively reveal the first trailer for Watchmen Chapter II, the second part of the animated two-part feature film from Warner Bros. Animation and Paramount that adapts the seminal 1980s graphic novel series by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons. Watchmen Chapter II debuts on Digital on November 26 and on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 3.

According to the official plot synopsis, Watchmen Chapter II sees its “outlawed superheroes grapple with their personal lives and each other while racing the clock to solve a deepening mystery connected to an impending nuclear war between the United States and Russia.”

Brandon Vietti produced and directed Chapter II from an adaptation by J. Michael Straczynski. Jim Krieg and Cindy Rago serve as producers and Gibbons serves as consulting producer. Sam Register, Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin are executive producers.

In IGN’s Watchmen Chapter I review, writer Zaki Hasan graded the film an 8/10 for having “a faithful script by J. Michael Straczynski that honors the original graphic novel and a unique animation style that evokes its linework.”
