The latest Xbox showcase has wrapped up, and we saw a mix of new trailers and gameplay for upcoming games arriving on the console and PC. We got some big announcements from partners like Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and more. The event only lasted about 25 minutes, so there was a lot be packed into that timeframe.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Is Coming In 2025
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers got a new gameplay trailer that showed off a lot of elements that look similar to Black Myth: Wukong. The upcoming action game will be coming sometime in 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and will be available on Game Pass. We got our first look at this game all the way back in June and already knew it would be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
The Control Multiplayer Game Is Revealed as FBC: Firebreak
Alongside the Alan Wake 2 DLC trailer, we also got our first real look at the multiplayer Control game from Remedy Entertainment. Titled FBC: Firebreak, the new game is a 3-player co-op game that takes place in the same universe as both Control and Alan Wake. This game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass sometime in 2025.
Alan Wake 2 DLC Gets a New Preview
We got a new preview for the upcoming Alan Wake 2 DLC. The Lake House has a darker tone and horror elements. The new DLC is set to arrive on October 22, 2024. If you haven’t played the sequel to Alan Wake yourself, it’s worth checking out IGN’s review of Alan Wake 2 to see why we loved it.
Cronos: The New Dawn Announced
Follwing the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, The Bloober team revealed a new sci-fi horror game titlled Cronos: The New Dawn. We got a trailer fo rthe upcoming game that features a Bioshock-liker person. This game is coming in 2025 for PC and Xbox.
Pirate Yakuza Gets a New Trailer
The upcoming Pirate Yakuza game got a new trailer and it looks like a combination of a lot of different games. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii features elements that look like Skull and Bones and Assassin’s Creed all in one Yakuza-style game. This game is currently set to be relaesed on February 21, 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
Animal Well Is Now Available on Xbox
When we reviewed Animal Well earlier this year, we absolutely loved it. Now this wonderful puzzle game has come to Xbox and you can now play the game on the Microsoft console.
Blindfire Early Access Available Today
Blindfire is a new team shooter game that showcases colorful hooded figures and neon lights. Early access for this game officially starts today for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Mouse P.I. For Hire Is Coming in 2025
With a cartoony style that looks a lot like a mix between old Mickey Mouse cartoons and Cuphead, Mouse P.I. For Hire is surprisingly a first-person shooter. The new game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime in 2025.
The Legend of Baboo Announced for 2025
We got our first trailer and announcement for The Legend of Baboo, which will be arriving in 2025. You play as both the young protagonist Sepehr and his dog, Baboo. This new game will be available on Xbox consoles and PC when it arrives next year and you can wishlist it today.
Edens Zero Is Coming in 2025
Based on the manga by Hiro Mashima, author of Fairy Tale and Rave Master, comes Edens Zero. We got a trailer for the upcoming game that showed off the characters and some of their powers. This new space adventure from Konami will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.
Eternal Strands Is Coming in Early 2025
We got a new trailer for Eternal Strands, an upcoming action game that heavily features nature elements. You fight with fire, ice, and a giant sword. This new game is coming sometime in early 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and will be available on Game Pass.
Mistfall Hunter Announced for 2025
We got a look at gameplay for the upcoming soulslike, Mistfall Hunter. The new game comes from Bellring Games and looks like it features a lot of elements similar to Elden Ring. Mistfall Hunter will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime in 2025.
Wheel World Announced for Early 2025
Xbox unveiled a new bicycle racing game that will be coming to Game Pass next year. The trailer for Wheel World features a cartoony style, a bunch of different bike options, and races through colorful lands. The new bike racing game will be coming in early 2025 to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.
Phasmophobia Is Coming to Xbox in October
The popular online co-op game, Phasmophobia, is officially coming to Xbox consoles on October 29, 2024. The reveal trailer showed off all of the psychological horror elements that make this game perfect for an October Xbox release.
Subnautica 2 Early Access Announced
Subnautica 2 was announced for early access in 2025. The upcoming sequel got a quick trailer to show off a sneak peek of what you can expect next year. This includes an entirely new planet and co-op.
