Heroes Never Die, a Survivor-Plus-Tactics Strategy Game, Announced for PC

If you’ve ever wondered what a fusion of Vampire Survivors and Heroes of Might and Magic would look like, then Heroes Never Die might be the game for you. It’s a newly announced fantasy strategy game from developer Ludogram that “aims to take the best of the survival formula and fuse it with more tactical decisions, real-time army building, and powerful fantasy heroes.” It will be released in 2027 for PC.

In Heroes Never Die, you’ll choose your titular hero – there are over 20 in the lineup – and battle not just monster hordes but also rival heroes. Each hero has their own skills, but no matter who you pick, you’ll seek to upgrade your town by gathering resources and fighting foes. There are also four factions and over 60 different units, with the developers promising that no two runs will be alike.

“We’re delighted to finally announce Heroes Never Die, a project we’ve been working on in the shadows for a couple of years”, said creative director Edouard Gaudel. “We cannot wait to see our first players fighting hordes of monsters, and evolving their armies while meeting our heroes. Don’t forget to join our upcoming Playtest!”

If you’re interested, you can sign up for the private playtest and/or wishlist Heroes Never Die on Steam.
