Best Amazon Labor Day Deals (2026): Sony, Shark, Anker

Amazon doesn’t advertise its Labor Day sale as heavily as Prime Day and Black Friday, but the Amazon 2026 Labor Day Sale still offers some of the best deals of the year on an assortment of tech and home gear ranging from half off WIRED’s previous top-pick wireless headphones, Sony’s XM5 series ($198) to the best deal I’ve seen this year on WIRED’s favorite laptop power bank, the EcoFlow Rapid Pro X ($180).

Amazon’s deals are in heavy flux during the lead-up to Labor Day—and a number of my favorite grills and griddles have already sold out on Amazon, days before the actual holiday. You can find the latest trending and lightning deals at Amazon’s Labor Day Sale page here. But in the meantime, these are the best dozen or so Amazon Labor Day deals right now.

Also see WIRED’s best early Labor Day deals on tech gadgets, mattresses, tool sets, kitchen devices, and REI deals.

WIRED’s Previous Top-Pick Wireless Headphones for $198 ($200 Off)

  • Image may contain: Electronics, and Headphones
  • Image may contain: Bag, and Backpack

Sony’s XM5 wireless headphones immediately became WIRED’s favorite wireless headphones when they came out in 2022—a top-dog position they gave up only to last year’s next-generation noise-canceling phones from Sony, the WH-1000XM6. The previous-model XM5’s remain truly excellent headphones: light and comfortable, with great control, great noise canceling, and accomplished sound in pretty much every regard. They’re also on sale for the lowest price we’ve ever seen them, during Amazon’s Labor Day Sale.

$60 Off WIRED’s Current Top-Pick Headphones

Image may contain: Electronics, Headphones, Dining Table, Furniture, and Table

This said, if you simply must have the best wireless headphones on earth, that’s still the next-gen XM6, which also rank as the best noise-canceling headphones on earth, with exemplary sound, 30 hours of battery life, and seven times the processing power of the XM5s. They’re on sale for $60 off MSRP during the Labor Day Sale. It’s a sale we’ve seen before multiple times this past year, but still nearly the lowest price we’ve seen.

Nothing Ear (3a) Earbuds for $79 ($20 Off)

The Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds are a stylish answer to noise-canceling earbuds. Nothing’s buds consistently rank among WIRED’s honorable mentions for their excellent value and bold design. The newest offer call recording and audio transcriptions, and ease of pairing with iPhones and Android devices. The active noise cancellation is hardly the best in the game, but at $79 you won’t easily find better: This is the lowest price we’ve seen since these earbuds drop to this summer.

A Top-Line Sonos Soundbar for $899 ($200 Off)

WIRED’s reviewer called the Sonos Arc Ultra a marvel of sound engineering when it arrived this year, a full update of the original Arc and an unmitigated triumph for Sonos: big bass, excellent clarity, and especially immersive Dolby Atmos sound. Sonos has also mostly cleared up the problems with its app in this update, thank God. This matches the best deal we’ve seen this year on Sonos’ newest flagship soundbar.

The Newest Amazon Echo Spot for $70 ($40 Off)

  • Echo Spot 2024 edition, a semi-sphere device with a screen on the front, displaying the current time as well as the time the alarm is set for.
  • Image may contain: Electronics, Screen, Computer Hardware, Hardware, Monitor, and Speaker

The Amazon Echo Spot is a bit of a twofer. It takes some of the best smart-display features—like a clock and weather readouts—and pairs them with a decent-enough smart speaker, while leaving out the, uh, corporate video surveillance. No one needs a camera in their bedroom! Anyway, this is a pretty decent discount.

Apple AirTag (2nd Gen) for $25 ($5 off)

Apple

AirTag (2nd Generation)

Never buy an AirTag at full price. The newest-gen AirTags remain the best Bluetooth tracker for anyone committed to Apple, and you’ll somehow always have need of more. But luckily they always go on sale during Amazon sales events. This Labor Day deal matches the Prime Day price this year and is the best price in 2026 so far.

The Best Laptop Power Bank for $180 ($100 Off)

Ecoflow

Rapid Pro Power Bank

This is the best laptop power bank that WIRED reviewer Simon Hill has tested, barely edging out Anker’s devices for its unusually rapid charging capability. Alongside 300W fast-charging, this EcoFlow also comes pretty close to the maximum allowed power bank capacity on an airplane. For Labor Day, it’s on sale for the cheapest we’ve ever seen it.

A Power Bank With a Charging Dock for $180 ($50 Off)

Image may contain: Electronics, Mobile Phone, and Phone

But if you prize convenience, this Anker offers the same storage capacity as the EcoFlow, but with a handy charging dock. This Anker Prime Power doesn’t charge quite as fast as the EcoFlow, but it comes pretty close. This is the cheapest this Anker has been in a few months.

Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven TOA-70NAS for $158 ($72 Off)

Cuisinart

TOA-70 Air Fryer Oven and Grill

Whenever this Cuisinart toaster oven and air fryer dips below $200, it’s one of the best deals out there. It crisps wings preternaturally well for an oven model—perhaps better than any oven-shaped air fryer I’ve tested. It browns evenly and keeps a steady and accurate temperature. This said, it’s a much more analog experience than most modern air fryers. This keeps it durable, but flashy it ain’t.

My Favorite Meat Probe for $153 ($47 Off)

Typhur Sync Gold Quad, a rectangular device with a small screen, beside small silver rod meat thermometers

A wireless meat thermometer has become a wild necessity in these times of salmonella … or just if you like well-cooked meat. Two birds, amirite? Anyway, after trying a half-dozen meat thermometers this past summer alone, this Typhur Sync Gold is my favorite overall for its mix of excellent signal and the easy-to-read display on its compact base station—meaning it’s useful both for outdoor and indoor use. This Sync Gold set goes on sale here and there, and this Labor Day price matches the lowest price I’ve seen this year.

Aeocky Rhea-001 Dehumidifier for $230 ($70 Off)

This dehumidifier from Aeocky has gotten unusually good reports back on durability, a claim I’m busy testing since receiving the device this summer. My only complaint was that I thought I could do a little better for the price. A steep price cut for Labor Day pretty much alleviates this complaint, just in time for mold season.

A Great Sous-Vide Cooker for $169 ($60 Off)

  • Image may contain: Electrical Device, and Microphone

Anova

Sous Vide Precision Cooker 3.0 (1100 Watts)

Sous-vide can seem intimidating. But WIRED reviewer Kat Merck recommends this touchscreen Anova immersion circulator for its gentle learning curve: You just clip it onto a pot of water, select your temp, and let it go. Sous-vide is, of course, a terrific way to slow-cook meat to the appropriate temp. But in these troubled times, you can also home-pasteurize your eggs to make sure they’re free of salmonella. This Labor Day discount isn’t the lowest price I’ve seen, but it’s certainly one of the better deals I’ve seen since the prices all went up this year.

The Best Robot Vacuum at (Nearly) Its Best Price: Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal for $750 ($650 Off)

Shark

PowerDetect UV Reveal

This is the best robot vacuum WIRED tested, at quite nearly the best price we’ve seen it during Amazon’s 2026 Labor Day sale. If you don’t feel like rolling the dice and waiting for Black Friday, the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal is a terrific robot vacuum with UV light that shows you perhaps too much about previous spills, and built-in AI that smartly takes care of even difficult messes. The extendable arm is also a bonus, reaching areas other vacuums can’t.

WIRED’s Favorite Handheld Pet Vacuum for $70 ($20 Off)

  • Shark Ultra Cyclone Pet Pro Plus, a small black handheld vacuum, on a wooden surface
  • Image may contain: Appliance, Device, Electrical Device, and Smoke Pipe

This handheld pet vacuum from Shark goes on sale reasonably often, but this is still the best deal so far this season on WIRED’s favorite handheld pet-hair remover. The UltraCyclone Pro is lightweight, powerful, and designed to stop pet hair from tangling up the vacuum’s brush—with a wealth of attachments for funny surfaces and crevices. WIRED reviewer Nena Farrell also attests that it can do double duty as a Cheerio-picker-upper when toddlers are about.

The Best Outdoor Lights for $350 ($90 Off)

Govee Outdoor Lights

Govee

Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro

It’s nearing the time of early darkness. A set of permanent outdoor lights can keep this from becoming dreary at home, and this set from Govee is WIRED’s favorite smart lighting setup for everyday illumination and Christmas lights both. This deal crops up reasonably often, but it’s the best you’re likely to find till the end of the year.
