Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is the next game in the Hot Wheels racing series, and this time it’s going open world.
Revealed at Summer Game Fest alongside a debut trailer, Infinite Rush is due out on September 24, 2026 priced $49.99 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2. Yes, that’s another September game to add to the list this year.
Infinite Rush is developed by Milestone, which created the two Hot Wheels Unleashed games. By going open world, Hot Wheels is following in the footsteps of this year’s Forza Horizon 6, and also goes up against open-world racer Clutch.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, however, is aimed squarely at a younger audience, primarily kids who play with Hot Wheels cars. Although I imagine there will be plenty of parents who are excited by the prospect of playing the game with their children, too.
Today’s footage showed the dinky cars racing across beaches, urban landscapes and through jungle — there was even a toy King Kong on top of a skyscraper.
Here’s everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2026 if you need a catch up on what the video game industry has in store.
