KPop Demon Hunters Cast Reunion: Watch Online Performances

The stars behind the Netflix anime smash KPop Demon Hunters are reuniting for special online performances as part of the McDonald’s Battle Of The Bands collaboration that gave us Demon Sauce and the Derpy McFlurry. The full performances will be available on April 26, but you’ll need to download the McDonald’s app and scan the Derpy Access Card that comes with the special edition Huntrix and Saja Boys meals.

EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI , the voices of Huntrix, will perform a new song together, while the singers behind the Saja Boys, Andrew Choi, samUIL Lee, Kevin Woo, Neckwav, and Danny Chung, will give their first performance as a real world group.

The limited edition meals arrived on March 31, featuring Spicy Saja McMuffin – “inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma” – and Huntrix Ramyeon McShaker Fries. Every meal also came with a special photocard – a Kpop staple – and the Derpy Access Card you need to scan to access the performances.

“KPop Demon Hunters has ignited an incredibly passionate global fandom, and we’re always looking for authentic ways to bring fans deeper into the worlds they love,” said Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer, Netflix.

“With McDonald’s, we were able to turn the rivalry between The Saja Boys and Huntrix into something fans can actually experience, drawing inspiration from Korean culture and food traditions that sit at the heart of the film. From Ramyeon McShaker Fries to Demon sauces paired with Soda Pop, every detail was designed to feel like it could have come straight out of a scene in the movie.”

KPop Demon Hunters was released last summer on Netflix and by December had scored over 500 million views, and has since taken home the Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. Obviously, a sequel is in the works, but don’t expect it anytime soon.
