The Rogue Trooper movie has its debut teaser, showing off the Unreal Engine-powered visuals.
Duncan Jones, director of Moon, Source Code, the Warcraft movie, and Mute, built Rogue Trooper using Unreal Engine, the tech created by Fortnite developer Epic Games that’s usually reserved for video game development.

The cast includes Aneurin Barnard as Rogue Trooper himself, Philomena Cunk actor Diane Morgan as Colonel Logan, and Marvel star Hayley Atwell as Venus Bluegenes. Courtesy of the Rebellion website, we also have a number of stills from the Rogue Trooper movie, which is due out later this year.
Rogue Trooper is a fully animated sci-fi film from rights holder Rebellion (the UK developer of Atomfall and the Sniper Elite series) and Liberty Films.

Taken from 2000 AD, the legendary British comic book, which is also home to Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper was co-created by artist Dave Gibbons (Watchmen, Kingsman) and Gerry Finley-Day and has been adapted for the screen by Duncan Jones.
