Satechi has released the ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger, a compact desktop charging brick with six USB-C ports that outputs enough power to keep your favorite power-hungry handheld gaming PC, gaming laptop, smartphone, and more topped up all at once. It even has a screen for those who want to see just how much their gear is drawing.
That 240W is a measure of the device’s total output, not any one USB-C outlet, but Satechi’s new charger can still push out 140W from either of its first two front-facing ports. That’ll charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro at full speed and is more than enough to max out the capacity of any handheld gaming PC you throw at it. The 240W Desktop Charger can also offer up to 100W on its second two ports, and up to 30W on the last two. Altogether, it has more ports and faster charging than most of IGN’s current favorite USB-C chargers, both in general and for specific devices like the Steam Deck.
Satechi says its display can show the real-time power draw from each port, and that the charger “auto-detects each device’s requirements and balances output across active ports, keeping everything charged efficiently, quietly, and without overheating.” The product comes with a stand that lets you both rest the Desktop Charger horizontally or vertically, with a slight tilt so it’s easier to see the display. The charger comes in one color, Space Black.
