AMC Theaters has revealed its exclusive popcorn bucket for the upcoming Street Fighter movie and it’s a wearable item shaped like Guile’s hair.
“It’s ergonomic and it’s aerodynamic. And it can be yours,” Guile actor Cody Rhodes says in the announcement video while wearing the popcorn bucket as his co-stars Noah Centineo (who plays Ken Masters) and Callina Liang (who plays Chun-Li) eat from it.
Cinemark also revealed their Street Fighter merch that leans into the arcade roots of the game franchise.

Popcorn buckets have become highly sought after collectibles for fans and viral marketing sensations for cinema chains and theatrical exhibitors.
The sandworm popcorn bucket from Dune: Part Two kicked off an increasing game of one-upmanship from studio marketers and theater chains alike. Indeed, Ryan Reynolds dubbed 2024 the year “when the War of the Popcorn Buckets began” in his unveiling of the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket.
In addition to the Dune: Part 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine ones, 2024 also saw Regal Theatres’ Garfield popcorn bucket where moviegoers could eat popcorn out of the back of Garfield’s head and a ghost trap-themed one for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
Last year, AMC Theaters unveiled their huge (and hugely expensive) “Giant Galactus Popcorn Vessel” for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
More recently, there were enough popcorn buckets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day that we even ranked them. And there were two popcorn buckets available for The Odyssey, one in the shape of an IMAX camera and the other being the Trojan horse.
Filmgoers hitting theaters this weekend can get a hold of the Resident Evil popcorn bucket that’s in the form of an organ transplant bag, while the upcoming theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame Encore offers ticket buyers two different Iron Man popcorn bucket options.
Street Fighter opens in theaters on October 16.
