Actor Vincent D’Onofrio has posted his reaction to the news that Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again will end with Season 3.
“We so enjoyed bringing @Daredevil Born Again to you all. You stuck with us and i [sic] like to think we stuck with you,” wrote D’Onfrio, who has played the villainous Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk in both Daredevil: Born Again and Netflix’s Daredevil. He also reprised the role in the Disney+ series Hawkeye and Echo.
“We have the final Season, season 3 heading your way next year with some very cool stuff. Much love to all who have been supportive.”
D’Onofrio continued, “I love that character Fisk. Always will. Off to another neck off the woods. Meanwhile… Season 3 is coming!”

While it remains unclear exactly why Marvel and Disney+ pulled the plug on Daredevil: Born Again after three seasons, it sounds like the move wasn’t without its share of behind-the-scenes drama.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane reportedly “exited the project during post-production. Sources reportedly raised eyebrows at the departure, as it has left the show without a clear leader to finish it.”
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is expected to launch on Disney+ in 2027.
Marvel Studios’ next TV release is VisionQuest on October 14. Five other shows are in development at Marvel, including a secretive project titled Zodiac.
