The upcoming thriller series Yaga debuted their long-awaited teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con during their panel on Saturday, which you can watch below.

The trailer opens with Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) who plays Katherine, a university professor, telling the tale of Baba Yaga to a young playboy-type man, Henry Park, played by Hudson Williams – who looks utterly enthralled by the story.

As the trailer goes on, you see Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as Rapp, a private investigator who’s trying to solve the disappearance of Henry, and Clark Backo as local detective Carson. More twists seem to come about as things unfold, with Rapp seemingly getting caught up in Baba Yaga’s charm and magic, and Henry unleashing intense feelings throughout.

Yaga is based on the play by Kat Sandler, who serves as Showrunner and Executive Producer. The series is a reimagining of the Slavic folktale of Baba Yaga, but is intended to be a darker, sexy, thriller. It’s an original series by Canadian streamer Crave, which gained global popularity with Heated Rivarly in late 2025.

Yaga is set to release in October 2026 on AMC+ for US streamers.
